Hey there my lovelies!
Welcome back to another round of my montly blog meme „SASSY Saturday“!
How does it work? Well, that’s easy!
All you have to do is to follow those three golden rules:
1. Credit the creator of this tag (The Sassy Library Fox) and link back. (so I can see all your amazing answers!)
2. Answer the 5 questions below!
3. AND enjoy doing the blog meme!
„SASSY Saturday“ is planned to be a monthly meme but if you want to do it more often feel free to go for it! This meme was created to get to know other bloggers, their new obsessions and to reflect on your own last month! Above all it was created to have fun though! If you want you can also use the banner I created! This said let’s head to the good part:
S – Series you loved this month
The Walking Dead: I’ve finally started to watch „The Walking Dead“ this month and boy, there’s a lot to catch up to. To start this series from season 1 is a commitment but for some reason I totally missed out on it when it was popular, so when I saw it’s on Netflix I couldn’t help but check it out. And I’m loving it so far. It’s great to see the human aspect of the series and I’m honestly not surprised that a lot of the problems the survivors have come from other survivors. You’d think to fight against a horde of dead people would be a priority but nope, humans do what they always did, they steal, they hurt and they kill each other. *shakes head* Very curious how this will continue. It’s definitely realistic, though.
Shadow and Bone – Season 2: I was so ready to dive into season two and I both enjoyed it and didn’t?! I absolutely loved the new cast and Nikolai, Tolya, Tamar and Wylan are amazing. Wesper is my favourite Crows ship so ahhh I got a lot of that in this season. The entire world is going to hell and Wesper are just flirting their way through all the episodes. *lol* Loved that! BUT and this is a huge but, they changed so many things and I don’t think they changed it for the better. By now it feels like this has nothing to do with the original SaB or SoC anymore. I get it, they had to adjust some things to squeeze those two different series together but uff. It’s one thing to adjust and another to change the most important things. So yeah, not really happy how far it all steered away from the original. For me this is a completely new series now and the characters are only loosely based on the original series. If I see it that way, I can deal with it. I did the same with „The Vampire Diaries“ so I guess I’ll do that now too. >_<
A – Author you discovered

Ashley Herring Blake – „Delilah Green Doesn’t Care“
I’ve seen a lot of other bookstagrammers mention this book as a great f/f read and since I wanted to dive deeper into f/f books for a long time I just decided to go for it when I saw it in my library. And tell you what?! I loved it! This was great and it was finally a f/f relationship that was done well and I could feel the tension and cuteness! I kinda wish there would be YA books like that too. I mean both of the characters in here are already thirty. So grown adults. They have a lot of serious topics going on so the cuteness couldn’t be that carefree. Herring Blake definitely gave me hope that there can be amazing, realistic and sweet f/f reps in this world though and I’ll just try my best to watch out for them now. =)
S – Song you couldn’t get enough of
Jimin – Set Me Free Pt.2
I was so ready for Jimin’s EP „Face“ and boy, it’s amazing! I really love the entire vibe of his new songs and „Set Me Free Pt.2“ is great! Alone the dancing!! Wow! „Like Crazy“ goes in an entirely different direction but is at leas as danceable as the first one. I’m so impressed with Jimin, I can’t even! Love all his new songs and instantly bought the entire EP. ❤
S – Surprise – Something that totally caught you off guard
That I actually managed to finish „The Three Musketeers“! This book was huge and I started it in February with a bunch of other readers for a readalong. Needless to say I couldn’t keep up the pace with them and therefore decided to take it into March. *lol* I said I’d finish it by the end of the month and yesterday I read the last page and put it on finished on my Goodreads. On the 31st of March. Haha! That was a precision landing. XD
Y – Your fave blog post of another blogger
„12 YA Books To Read Based on Your Favorite Season“ by Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books
I loved the idea of Marie’s blog post! Books based on seasons is amazing and I was surprised to find that I actually read some of them in the mentioned season. =) There are so many great recs on Marie’s list and I can totally recommend to check out her blog. It’s awesome and I’ve been following it for years. 😉
