Hey there my lovelies!
Welcome back to another round of my montly blog meme „SASSY Saturday“!
How does it work? Well, that’s easy! 😉
All you have to do is to follow those three golden rules:
1. Credit the creator of this tag (The Sassy Library Fox) and link back. (so I can see all your amazing answers!)
2. Answer the 5 questions below!
3. AND enjoy doing the blog meme! 😛
„SASSY Saturday“ is planned to be a monthly meme but if you want to do it more often feel free to go for it! This meme was created to get to know other bloggers, their new obsessions and to reflect on your own last month! Above all it was created to have fun though! 😉 If you want you can also use the banner I created! This said let’s head to the good part:
S – Series you loved this month
My Love from the Star: This was such a good k-drama! When I first started to watch it, I wasn’t all too convinced if I’d like it, because it was my first k-drama playing in modern times and not in the Joseon dynasty. *lol* (Yeah, I love to watch historical k-dramas) But ahh the story of an alien that comes to earth and spends 400 years on it before there is another opportunity to leave our planet immediately grew close to my heart. Especially because he falls in love in the last 3 months before he has to return. AHHHH!!! T_T This k-drama had it all: family, enemies-to-lovers, historical elements, wisdom and while it made me laugh at the beginning it had me in tears during the last couple of episodes. I swear I cried a river! So, so, good! *cries again*
A – Author you discovered
Sophie Gonzales & Cale Dietrich – If This Gets Out
I didn’t just discover those two authors I also ended up loving their book!!! „If This Gets Out“ was everything I ever wanted and even more and I loved this book to bits and pieces! ❤ Ruben and Zach were amazing and I will ship Zuben forever! *sings* „And I will go down with this ship…“ *lol* Okay, enough of me singing and back to the topic at hand! „If This Gets Out“ was great and I loved that the authors tackled a lot of serious and interesting issues as well! So if you can get your hands on a copy: DO IT!!! Highly recommended! Also if you love BTS and ship one of the band ships, this is the perfect book for you! *lol* ;-P
S – Song you couldn’t get enough of
BTS – Permission to Dance
How am I supposed to write another song in here?! Just when I thought I would listen to „Butter“ all summer long (which I still do btw *lol*) they threw out their new single „Permission to Dance“ on July 9th! And it is sooo amazing, I can’t even!!! This song gives me all the good vibes and positive energy and it makes me so, so, so happy! You have no idea! XD I love how BTS uses their music to spread positivity and hope and I’ll never get tired of talking about them! Because after all their struggles and hard work: They DESERVE it!!! Also can we acknowledge how thoughtful and awesome it is that they used sign language in their choreo?! And because I love their song so much I decided to take part in the „Permission to Dance“ challenge too. Usually I only post book videos on my YouTube channel but I just couldn’t resist. So if you want to see me having a good time while I dance to their song here’s the video:
Let’s spread hope and happiness in this horrible Covid time! And even if you’re no fan of BTS and not part of ARMY I’m sure me goofing around and having fun should be enough to make you smile! (or at least to make you laugh about me. *lol*)
S – Surprise – Something that totally caught you off guard
That I got my second shot of the vaccine and ended up having side-effects… Again! *lol* Like seriously! I thought the second time it would be better and for a while it actually was. I got vaccinated on a Saturday afternoon and up until Sunday around lunch time everything was okay. Well, and then I got a headache made in hell, fever and chills. I slept the rest of Sunday, didn’t even get out of bed on Monday and went back to work on Tuesday like nothing ever happened. So weird. *lol* The good thing is: I’m fully vaccinated now and should be fine! =)
Y – Your fave blog post of another blogger
My obsession for Cdramas + thoughts on Nirvana in Fire by Sahi @ My World of Books
I just loved everything about Sahi’s post because I could relate so much when it comes to being obsessed with dramas *lol* In my case it are k-dramas though but after Sahi’s post I’ll definitely check out a couple of her cdama recommendations because they sound really great too! If you’re a fan of k-dramas or c-dramas or basically any sort of drama you should read her post! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well. 😉
What do you think about „SASSY Saturday“? Would you like to join the fun? Did you already listen to „Permission to Dance“ and did you take a part in the challenge too? (If yes, please give me a link to your video so I can cheer for you and like it!!!) Was there something that surprised you last month and which kind of series do you like to watch? Are you fully vaccinated as well?
Talk to me and let me know! 😉
