Hey there my lovelies! =)
In my „Top 15 of my bookish 2020“ blog post I mentioned that I would try to read 45 books this year and that there were only 40 on my list so far. I asked you for recommendations to fill in those last five blank spots and as always your suggestions were amazing! XD
I wrote them all down and put them into a bowl. Well, and then I pulled out 5 of them! This said: Thank you so much for participating! I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into your answers and I hope you’ll find your recommendation at the end of the following list! ❤ (light cobalt blue colour) Also for the first time ever I put emojis next to the books in order to classify them for you. I’m really looking forward to read all of those books and I hope that this time around I’ll actually manage to get to them. Or well, at least most of them! *lol* I’m pretty confident that I’ll get through this list though, because most of those books I had in my mind for quite a while and a lot of them are rereads I want to finish. And of course I’ll try to get through My Book List 2019 as well as My Book List 2020. On my 2019 list there are only 8 books left I have to tick off and I know I can do it! I totally can! *gives myself a pep talk*
Anyway! What about you? Did you already read some of the books on my list or are you planning to read them in near future? How many books do you want to read in 2021? Are you taking part in the GR challenge? Which releases of 2021 are you looking forward to? Talk to me and let me know!
And as always: Stay healthy and safe! ❤
*hugs’n’kisses*

I hope you will enjoy all of these! There are quite some favourites of mine on this list, most recent fave; Kingdom of the Wicked! I also just read Legendborn, and it was really good!

Thank you so much, Evelyn! =) I’m glad to hear you loved some of them! I’m pretty confident I’ll end up enjoying most of them too. I drew „Kingdom of the Wicked“ and „Legendborn“ out of my bowl. They were recommendations so I’m really curious how they’ll be! XD

Ahhh I just recently read The Poppy War and I’m already scared to read the next two books, especially after everyone’s been saying such scary things abt The Burning God😰 I don’t want my heart broken. Also really can’t wait for you to read The Silvered Serpents ehehehe have fun😃 Hope you all enjoy all these books💕

Thank you, Lia! I started to write this list in August and then always added another book when I was certain I wouldn’t get to it until the end of the year. So yeah, that’s 5 months of 2020 when I failed to read what I wanted to read. *lol* I feel you on „The Poppy War“. After book one it’s pretty hard to pick up the others. I guess you’ve to be in a certain and safe mindset to be able to enjoy them. XD I’ve been dying to read „The Silvered Serpents“ and I heard the last book comes out this year? So maybe I’ll start to read it a month before it hits the shelves? I’ve been told TSS has a brutal cliffhanger so to wait for book 3 would be the sensible thing. 😉

😂😂😂 there were definitely books I meant to read in 2020, but didnt. and yes exactly!! The Poppy War is amazing, and even tho i’m scared, still gonna read TDR asap😆 And YES that is actually the smartest move to make for TSS. That cliffhanger should not exist😭
