The Wall

A wall full of dreams,

Pictures,
Photographs,
Poetry,
Art

And though nothing as it seems.

A wall full of emotion,

Hope,
Sadness,
Longing,
Anger,
Despair,

Without any notion,
Without any one to care.

A wall full of memories,

Future,
Presence,
Past,

We’ll never forget,
We’ll let it last.

A wall full of power,

Friendship,
Love,
Life,
Death,

Like a never ending tower,
Reaching for the endless skies.

A wall,
Nothing special,
Nothing obvious,
Just made of ordinary tapestry,
And though you can see the lines of history.
